
Steps
(1). To prevent breakage then follow these steps before you get your hair processed. To repair damaged hair then repeat these steps 2-3 times a week, more or less depending on your hair type.
(2). Begin by shampooing hair and rinsing thoroughly with a good quality shampoo. Salons sell many brands; choose one that targets color treated hair.
(3). Then put the protein conditioner throughout rinsed hair and leave on only 5 minutes. Rinse with very warm water for several minutes to get ALL of the protein conditioner out. Use this only once a week.
(4). Paul Mitchell Moisture Conditioner is great! Then towel dry hair and apply a deep moisturizing conditioner or repair mask to hair and comb through with a wide toothed comb. Cover with a shower cap and leave on hair for 2-4 hours, or overnight. Rinse thoroughly.

(5). Use protein conditioner only once a week, too much protein can cause more breakage.
(6). Rinse protein conditioner out completely.
(7). Do not sleep with a protein conditioner in hair overnight.
